Boraie Development LLC is one of New Jersey’s premier property development and management firms. They have been in business for 40 years and specialize in using loans for large commercial banks to build luxury properties. They are led by their Founder and Chief Executive Officer Omar Boraie. His company is based in New Brunswick and was instrumental in helping that city’s modernization efforts which began in the 1970s.
The Aspire is their latest building located in downtown New Brunswick. Boraie Development put many amenities in place in order to create a great place to live. Among the unique amenities is a rooftop sundeck which features an area to barbecue. This building is 17 stores tall and has 238 units with a mix of studios, one and two bedroom units.
They have a doorman and concierge at The Aspire to help with the needs of its residents. They are pet-friendly allowing both cats and dogs up to 35 pounds. Each unit’s kitchen has stainless steel appliances and features granite countertops and island’s. The main living areas have hardwood floors while all of the bedrooms are carpeted. The Aspire also has a fitness center and a place to store bikes.
Boraie Development also recently completed a high-rise in Newark named One Rector Street. It is 23 stories tall and has 169 rental units priced at market rates. This building was completed in a partnership with Shaquille O’Neal of NBA fame. He will be using one of the penthouses when it is completed as one of his residences. He said that he wanted to give back to Newark and build something that was beautiful and inspiring.
Shaquille O’Neal and a team of executives from Boraie Development were on hand when this building was topped on April 10, 2018. State and local government officials were also on hand including Governor Phil Murphy. The whole area was celebrating the first high-rise to be built in that city in half a century. Construction began in the spring of 2017.
One Rector Street is a big boost to the “Living Downtown Plan” that Newark’s city officials created. The goal is to create a city that is mainly only occupied during working hours to one that has a 24/7 vibrant culture. There are other buildings going up in the area and already several successful local retail stores and restaurants are having a great deal of success.
